Our financial aid program offers girls and adults the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouting. Financial aid for the annual Girl Scout membership fee may be requested while completing the online membership registration process. An application is required to receive financial aid for the Girl Scouts of the USA membership dues. Financial aid is not available for the purchase of a Lifetime Membership.

Membership Financial Assistance Guidelines:
Please be sure to read the guidelines carefully on the Membership Financial Aid application form.
- Financial aid is granted based on financial need and the availability of funds.
- Financial aid is not designed to replace Program Credits. Available Program Credits will be applied to membership before financial aid will be granted. (Program Credits cannot be used for Adult memberships.)
- The Membership Financial Aid form must be completed by the Parent/Guardian.
- Financial aid must be selected at the time of registration. A refund will not be given if membership is paid in advance and then financial aid is requested.
- Incomplete applications will be returned to the Parent/Guardian and will need to be resubmitted for consideration.
KanCare Recipients
Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is partnered with the KanCare program. Girls that are currently a recipient of one of the KanCare providers (Aetna, Sunflower Health Plan, United Healthcare), may be eligible to utilize KanCare dollars to purchase a membership. Financial aid must be selected at the time of registration.
KanCare Guidelines:
- Girls can utilize up to $50 per calendar year.
- The form must be completed in its entirety.
- The council will submit to your insurance provider on your behalf.
- Your Membership Financial Aid approval is not contingent on KanCare applications.
