GS Regional Offices Adjust Hours They're Open to the Public

In an effort to provide prompt attention and excellent customer care to our members utilizing our regional offices, adjustments have been made to when our regional offices will be open to the public. These new hours will be effective on Monday, February 5. All of the traditional office hours for staff will remain 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. council-wide and the phones will continue to be answered in the respective offices from 5- 6 p.m. as well, but the offices and shops will not be open during this time in the regional offices. The changes in the open hours will allow us to accommodate members that visit the offices when staffing is at a peak and there is adequate staff available to handle walk-in traffic, answer the phones, cover the shops and continue to hold in-person meetings as needed. Only the Wichita shop will continue to be open on Monday evenings from 5-6 p.m. The Wichita office will remain open to the public from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is not impacted by these adjusted hours.
The new hours will also provide time for current staff to attend meetings, trainings and focus on administrative tasks while they’re in the office. The new regional “open to the public” office hours are as follows:

Monday afternoon                  Noon – 5 p.m.
