Girl Scouts provides life-changing programming to girls. Girl Scout alums are 20% more likely to seek challenges and learn from setbacks than girls who weren’t Girl Scouts.
When you donate to Girl Scouts, you power unique and amazing experiences for girls. Experiences that broaden their worlds, teach them essential life skills, and prepare them for lifelong leadership.
You’re helping girls like Savanna, an Ambassador level Girl Scout, who will be graduating from high school this year. Savanna has grown up in Girl Scouts earning numerous badges and awards, including the I Live My Faith award, and her Bronze and Silver Awards. She is currently in the process of working on earning her Gold Award. She has given back to her community with more than 500 volunteer hours under her belt, 300 of which helped earn her Torch Award.
Savanna knew from a young age that she wanted to work with kids, so she has spent the last six summers volunteering at camp and plans to apply as a camp staffer at Camp Starwoods this summer. She enjoys her role as a leader and mentor to younger girls.
This summer she will also be traveling to Italy and Greece with her Travel Troop. They have worked tirelessly for several years, both as a group and individually to raise money for the trip, giving them the opportunity to experience the exciting adventure of travel.
Savanna’s is just one of thousands of success stories we see each year. Girl Scouting caters to girls’ specific learning and leadership styles and creates girls who are engaged in their communities and are primed to lead both now and in the future. With your support, girls will continue to have access to this lifechanging programming and enable us to deliver our program to even more girls across 80 Kansas counties.
Would you be willing to make a special year-end contribution of $25 (which will cover membership for a girl for one year), $100, or even $200 or more to help more girls like Savanna?
