Volunteers
Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland is currently looking for volunteers in our communities. These volunteers can be parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors. The types of opportunities are varied and there are enough possibilities to reach many different interests.
We are always looking for troop leaders to guide young girls on their exciting journey through Girl Scouts. Beyond the troop, we need leadership on all levels including our board of directors, clerical work, work at one of our Girl Scout sites helping to prepare for troops and summer activities. Many of you have special talents, skills and interests from super gardener to engineer, from pilot to musician, or from CEO to international studies teacher to share with girls.

Did you need a role model when you were a teen? Imagine how much you could offer girls ages 11 to 17 knowing what you know now. The network of Girl Scouts ages 11 to 17 needs young adult volunteers, both women and men, who can relate to their interests and concerns. Girls often relate better to those close to their own age. Make a difference, help with camps, speak at troop meetings, be an assistant Leader! Whatever time you have, we have a position for you.
Remember when you were a Girl Scout? You chose projects, met goals and made friends along the way. You can create new opportunities that will build memories for today's girls by volunteering at a location near you. We want you to share your experiences and make new ones for girls. Make new friends, discover new talents and abilities and help girls develop the same values and skills that you did as a Girl Scout.
