The Lindsborg girls sure had the community in mind when they planned their Halloween festivities this year! They dressed up in costumes and went "trick or canning" to collect cans of food for the local food bank.

The town was quite receptive to the girls' venture because they were able to collect almost 1000 cans of food! 1000 CANS!!

That's a lot of food and their leaders were very proud of them. They will definitely do the same thing next year!

After collecting their goods, they had a Halloween party of their own. This just goes to show you that the Girl Scouts really make a difference in their communities, even if it is one can of food at a time!
