Everyone loves a parade, including the Ellsworth Girl Scouts who won First Place in the non-profit organization category in the Ellsworth Cowtown Festival parade on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009.

The Junior girls and leaders walked and the Juniors tossed out Mardi gras necklaces.

"They were a big hit! The girls had a great time," Treasurer Jenny Thornton said. "We had many compliments on how fabulous our float was."

The girls received a plaque and a $25 cash prize.
