Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland serves nearly 15,000 girls and adults in 80 Kansas counties through its operational headquarters in Wichita, Kan., and regional offices in Emporia, Garden City, Hays, Hutchinson, Parsons and Salina.
Girl Scouting offers programs designed to both reflect today's issues and help girls prepare for tomorrow. Girls have fun, develop skills, make new friends and learn through community service to take responsibility for their role in their community.

Nationwide, Girl Scout council boundaries are being redrawn to go from 312 councils to 109 as part of Girl Scouts of the USA 's strategic plan to modernize the organization and put it in an even better position to meet the needs of today's girls. The new structure will make the most effective use of resources to better serve local communities across the nation and deliver a superior and consistent Girl Scout leadership program to even more girls.
