Girl Scouts Can Lead Anywhere: National Convention 2008

Local Delegates to Vote on Proposals
Ten delegates from Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland were chosen to attend the 2008 Girl Scout National Council Session in Indianapolis, Indiana, from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, 2008. More than 11,000 adult and girl members and nearly 200 exhibitors are expected to attend.

These voting delegates will review progress on the implementation of the core business strategy and make important policy decisions vital to the continued success of the Girl Scout Movement.  In addition, non-voting members will attend the National Council Session/51st convention.
