It's a new look for kansasgirlscouts.org! Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland's website now has numerous updates that make it easier to navigate the site.
Our council has been listening to suggestions from members about how to improve our website, including the importance of eliminating obsolete and outdated information that clutters the site. This cleaner, simpler format will most importantly aid our members and volunteers, and it will be more easily accessible from mobile devices, as well.
Important details and tips:
- You’ll be able to search for events by categories, level (Daisy, Brownie, Junior, etc.), and region by clicking on the Events page and then selecting “Advanced Search.” Every event now features a direct link to event registration.
- Important forms and documents can be found by clicking on the Forms link at the top of our new homepage. By clicking on “Options” on the Forms page, you will see all of the categories the forms are organized under.
- Our brand-new Media page includes press releases and direct links to all of our publications.
- This spring, members will have access to even more technology and tools when we introduce a new registration system that allows girls and volunteers to select a troop or other pathway from a new, online catalog! We’ll also offer an interactive digital toolkit for K-5 troop leaders, complete with meeting schedules and activities that leaders can view online or print out.
We hope you enjoy our website’s new look, which makes the Girl Scout experience easier and more enjoyable. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Simply click on Contact at the top of our new homepage, and you can reach out to us directly.
