Girl Scouts 'Care to Share' with Kansas Food Bank!
Girl Scouts "Care to Share"! Through the Fall Opportunity Sale, Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland supports the Kansas Food Bank's hunger-relief programs.
During this year's Fall Opportunity Sale, a sale of nuts and candy to friends and family, Girl Scouts sold 2,547 "Care to Shares," which are $5 donations used to purchase product for the Kansas Food Bank at the end of the sale.
More than $12,700 worth of product has now been donated to the Kansas Food Bank! This week, Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland staff members helped distribute all of the "Care to Share" donations to the Kansas Food Bank. (Click here to see additional photos.) The Kansas Food Bank, which serves the 80 counties covered by Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland, will now distribute the items through its numerous programs across the state.
Thank you to our dedicated Girl Scouts and their friends and family for showing you "Care to Share" with the Kansas Food Bank!
