Want to help our council make a difference in the lives of girls across the state of Kansas? Make plans to support a Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland special event that benefits 15,000 members across 80 Kansas counties!
The Juliette's Pearls Leadership Society, a giving and advocacy society, raises awareness and funds for Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland to ensure Kansas girls have the opportunity to participate in programs that will help them thrive now and in the future as adults. Feb. 27, 2016, is the society's inaugural Annual Luncheon featuring former Kansas Senator Nancy Kassebaum as the keynote speaker.
The Thin Mint Sprint 5K & Cookie Relay is an annual event for Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland that takes place in April at our council’s headquarters at 360 Lexington Road in Wichita. This unique event includes a 5K race and an exciting, fun team event – the Cookie Relay! Get your team ready to conquer our cookie obstacles!
Harvest Market, a unique shopping experience in October in Emporia, features home décor, crafts, vintage items, clothing, jewelry & accessories, bath & body products, holiday décor, kitchen & food items, floral, children’s items, gifts and much more!
The See ‘N’ Sell Arts & Crafts Show takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving each year. It is a one-day show that is open to the public from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Approximately 4,000 shoppers attend See ‘N’ Sell each year, and the show consistently receives rave reviews from shoppers and exhibitors alike!
